Tracey works from a psychodynamic, mindfulness based approach which helps clients to get in touch with how their thinking is affecting their feelings and behaviors. Mindfulness tools are taught to help with identifying and holding emotions in a more balanced way. Compassion and self care is nurtured in the therapeutic setting.
Tracey uses traditional therapeutic techniques to support, validate, and understand her clients. Her style is warm, caring, and interactive. She relies on behavioral techniques to foster change and supportive exploration to help the client gain a better understanding of him/herself. As a team, Tracey teaches and offers the client the ability to utilize relaxation skills, meditation tools, healing imagery, and supportive observations and interpretations in the therapy sessions. It is this delicate balance of therapeutic style and technique that supports and creates growth in the client.
Tracey offers individual therapy, individual meditation instruction, MBI classes via The Sage Healing Institute, and group meditation/reflection classes at her office suite.
